The start

I'm starting this blog to journal our home renovation project that is (hopefully) about to begin soon... It all started when we found out we were expecting our 4th child! We purchased the house in 2010 and knew that one day we would do some major renovations and had been saving up for it and thinking about it, but it wasn't until we found out about baby #4 that we decided NOW was the time. Of course we are nieve and thought maybe it could be a quick enough process to get going and have things done by the time baby comes, but here we are exactly 3 months until my due date and we have yet to "break ground." We are at a crucial point in time where if things move along quickly in the next days we are going to start, if we continue to have any more set backs we are holding off until after #4 arrives! So the next few days will tell... Here's what we're going to do... Upstairs we are converting our current master bedroom into a regular bedroom for the new baby and creating a new master suite above the garage. Downstairs we are expanding the family room and kitchen towards the back yard to make them larger. Will be doing a full kitchen remodel and upgrade. Creating a new mudroom and entrance from the garage as well as a new laundry room. Exciting plans in the works...tons of anxiety before we get there. Before pics to come!! (need to clean the house and get it "picture ready"
